Price Match Terms

Price Match policy

A Price Match submission is a request for review, not an automatic promise to match. Fonebook may verify the competitor offer before making a decision.

Eligible evidence

• A current offer or quote from an identifiable genuine UK repair business.
• Evidence showing enough information to identify the competitor, including a business phone number, and to compare the device, repair and price.
• A repair scope and part quality that Fonebook considers reasonably comparable.

We may decline where

• The quote is expired, unverifiable or materially incomplete.
• The offer is from a private seller/marketplace listing rather than a comparable repair business.
• The competitor price is conditional on materially different parts, service scope, membership, trade-in or another condition not included in Fonebook's service.
• There is evidence of alteration, fraud or misuse.

Approval

If approved, Fonebook will state the matched price, any conditions and an expiry date/reference. The approval applies only to the specified customer/device/repair and is not transferable unless Fonebook agrees otherwise.

Verification and privacy

Fonebook may use the submitted business phone number or public business details to verify the quote. Proof files are used for reviewing the request and handled under our Privacy Notice.
